Spectacular battle scenes, stunning artistry, and mind blowing cinematography all describe Zack Snyder’s 300 action packed, blood soaked drama based on Frank miller’s graphic novel 300. Computer graphics, a lot of slow motion, and an excellent portrayal of King Leonidas delivered by Gerard Butler make 300 an entertaining movie well worth watching.
I really loved 300, it was a stunning film from beginning to end and like The Phantom Of the Opera a real cinematic spectacle, unique and rarely seen, albeit in completely opposite ways. I had thought i wouldn’t like the new computer generated way of filming, but it really worked in this case. Gerard was mesmerizing as King Leo and once again it was the great emotion in his eyes that said it all, especially in the heartbreaking and dramatic last scene. He was
Leonidas in every sense of the word a true lion.
Once again what he put himself through in the role
is a testament to how special he is. The fight scenes were incredible, Zach Snyder certainly had great foresight and they deserved all the success that followed.
I have to say Gerard’s physique and thighs certainly
got my blood going, a real greek delight if ever there was one.
Love Rose
I wasn’t sure I would like this movie, but I loved the artistic quality. As far acting, I felt that Butler always used the same voice, not that it mattered, as he was so good to look at. The trouble is, before I saw the movie, I saw a parody on Youtube and it was all in chipmunk voices. I’ll never forget Leonidas shouting, “Spartans, tonignt we dine in Hell!” in a chipmunk voice. Hehe…
IMHO – ” 300 ” IS A POWERFUL HISTORIC BALLET !!!
ALTHOUGH GEARED FOR THE ” FAN BOYS ” IF ONE DIGS DEEPER IT SUCCEEDS IN TELLING A POWERFUL STORY OF HONOR !!!
